Alberta rakes in $30 million just half a year into cannabis legalization
In only fifty per cent of a year after Canada has completely legalized cannabis, the province of Alberta has collected C$30 million in weed fees.
The Alberta government showed with its fiscal statement that is year-end taxation revenue gathered from marijuana is C$4 million more than whatever they had originally predicted.
They are levies that Ottawa built-up as an excise taxation, with 75% of itcame back to the provinces.
