Member Assistance. Your Insured Funds (PDF) – full, in-depth pamphlet
A Courtesy Pay cost is charged each time Coast Central will pay a deal so that you could protect an overdraft. In the place of bouncing the check and coming back it for insufficient funds, we cover it to safeguard your relationship together with your payee(s). You then only have to repay the credit union for the fee( and overdraft s), helping you save the inconvenience and time ordinarily associated with renegotiating re re payment with each payee.
Distinctive from a Courtesy Pay charge, an “overdraft fee†is charged when a transfer must be made by us from a single of one's accounts to a different, to pay for what would otherwise be an overdraft. When funds can be found in another account, this is preferable to the larger Courtesy Pay charge to pay for your transaction(s).
Sometimes, when just a few of the funds necessary to cover an overdraft can be found in other records, our computer system will move whatever it may before Courtesy Pay (if relevant) kicks in. You might experience an overdraft cost in addition to a Courtesy Pay cost in this situation.
Overdraft transfers is only able to be produced for reports authorized by the user for this function. Please e mail us if you should be not sure which accounts you've got put up for overdraft security, or finish an Overdraft Protection Authorization Form to improve your protection.
