Matchmaking and spending time with company try leading of mind for millennials, but difficult to perform simply because they have a problem with cultivating lasting and healthier romantic affairs, an innovative new Harvard document says.
Just what they’re perhaps not up for, but try everyday intercourse.
Relating to professionals, teens and people tend to “greatly overestimate” the hook-up lifestyle of millennials, which fuels misconceptions that can be harmful to young people.
“We wish that the report is actually a real wake-up name,” Dr. Richard Weissbourd, lead composer of the research, mentioned in a statement. “While adults, and moms and dads specifically, squeeze their arms regarding the ‘hook-up society,’ analysis suggested that fewer young people are connecting than is normally thought.”
